Are you looking for a gloriously refreshing mid-autumn yoga retreat? As we wind down from summer days in to autumnal beauty we have the opportunity to stop, take stock, and return to earth with this blissful yoga retreat with Yogafurie.

Set in the naturally stunning grounds of Bala Brook in Dartmoor National Park, this retreat offers you the gift of recharge, self care, and coming back to earth. Expect to feel refreshed, rejuvenated and ready to settle in to the night time of our seasons. Enjoy the final autumnal month with a tailored yoga practice and plenty of hearty food in a wonderful corner of the UK.

Whether you are coming along with a friend, a loved one or flying solo, there are comfortable accommodation options to suit everyone’s needs. And you can add an en-suite option for extra privacy if you would like!

  • 3 nights accommodation.
  • 2 physical yoga sessions each day (1 on the day we leave).
  • Optional early morning meditations.
  • Optional daytime yoga workshop.
  • 2 glorious practice spaces; the sunny Yoga & Meditation Studio and the Shradda, an art studio perfect for sunrise meditations.
  • Hearty brunch and dinner every day (dinner on arrival day and brunch on the last day). You won’t go hungry!
  • Complimentary tea, coffee and healthy, tasty snacks available throughout the day.
  • Access to the Library, a quiet seating area with plenty to read on most every spiritual topic.

All meals are vegetarian with a lot of vegan options, if you have any other specific dietary requirements we are more than happy to cater for them. Please let us know as soon as you book in if you do have dietary requirements.

THE YOGA

Sinead is one of the lead instructors at Yogafurie and assists on Yogafurie’s Accredited Yoga and Hot Yoga Teacher Training Course. An experienced teacher with sound knowledge of both the yogic tradition and the human anatomy. She is passionate about a variety of yoga styles and practices and seeks to share them in a way that is accessible for all, whether you’re a beginner to yoga or a seasoned practitioner.

On this retreat you will be shown how to deepen your yoga practice to suit your needs and develop your yoga in the way you’d like to. You will discover a variety of new ways to approach the physical practice of yoga, and a host of meditation and breath practices. You’re sure to discover new practices that can benefit you in your everyday life.

Throughout the retreat you will be introduced to a host of yoga practices. In the optional early morning sessions you can expect to learn and explore meditations, pranayamas (breath practices) and more. For the physical practice you’ll be working with vinyasa, hatha, yin and restorative styles. And of course you’ll find plenty of nourishing and restful yoga nidra.

WHAT ELSE CAN I DO?

This location is perfect for exploring nature whilst on this yoga retreat. Going for a short stroll or a longer hike, Bala Brook is situated in Dartmoor National Park and on the edge of the open moor. There are thirty five acres of delightful gardens, fields, mature oak trees and woodland adjoining the waterfalls of Bala Brook, which tumbles down to join the river Avon. They also have a resident flock of Hebridean sheep.

Within the grounds there is plenty to explore and see. If you would like to venture further there is information provided at the retreat location as to great walks to do and places to see.

You can expect an extra optional workshop on the Saturday afternoon.

HOW TO GET HERE

Travel isn’t included in the cost of the holiday. Travel to Bala Brook can be quite simple by car or by train. We can offer all information at time of booking or you may request this ahead of booking if necessary.

We promote car pooling on our retreats so please let us know if you do not have a mode of transport or are looking for someone to share petrol costs with.

BOOKING AND PAYMENT

You can pay the entire price in one. Or you can pay in two stages – a deposit of 50% secures your booking, and then the full balance must be paid by September 3rd 2019.

If you need to cancel your deposit is not refundable. If you paid the entire amount upfront and you cancelled more than 1 month before the event, then 50% is not refundable. If for whatever reason you do need to cancel, then simply contact us on info@yogafurie.com.
