What was it about Yoga that made you want to learn more?

“Having taken part in various classes over the years, in various places, there just seemed to be so much to Yoga in terms of its benefits both mentally and physically. Knowing that it is an ancient practice rich in philosophy intrigued me further.”

Did you aim to teach after the 200 hours or was this a journey to deepen your knowledge about Yoga?

“Both really! I think primarily my aim was to deepen my knowledge of Yoga, but I felt that if I gained the confidence along the way to teach then that would be something i would definitely like to do.”

How did you feel the moment that you signed up to the course?

“Really excited, pleased that I had made the step to sign up to the 200 hours Yoga course and eager to get started and get learning.”

How did you feel on your first day? What was the experience of your first weekend with us?

“A mixture of nerves and excitement. The first weekend really reinforced the depth of experience that we were all about to embark on and it was clear from the start that it was going to be both a fun and life enhancing course. It was obvious that there was going to be plenty to work on the 200 hour teacher training classes but there was going to be great support along the way.”

“A lot more of my spare time is taken up by Yoga now; my book shelf in particular looks very different! I feel I turn to Yoga more now as a way to relieve stress and channel my energy.”

What was your favourite thing about the 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training course with Yogafurie Academy?

“The knowledge and approachability of the course leaders and how encouraging they were in wanting us all to achieve. I also love how much the course has encouraged me to keep up a dedicated practice.”

Is there anything else you would like to offer up as a reflection on this journey?

“It has been a great decision for me to do the course as it has allowed me to take Yoga to another level. It has changed and enhanced my practice and when taking part in a class I feel a new understanding and appreciation for what I am being instructed.”

What is the Difference Between Hot Yoga and Yoga?

Yogafurie enjoys a reputation for great Yoga teachers and great Yoga classes. Dedicated Yogis seem to find us. One of the most common things experienced Yogis relay is: “I thought I’d learned to breathe at my traditional Yoga class. But it was just my fitness carrying me through my Yoga. Here, I’ve actually learned to breathe to support my practice.”
