Anne Tregenna

Baby Natal Developmental Baby Massage Stage 1 and 2

Anne is a qualified Antenatal and Postnatal Practitioner offering the accredited BabyNatal Developmental Baby Massage courses.

She has been teaching in children’s education for 10 years and has 4 children of her own. It was after having her own children that Anne decided she wanted to share her passion and knowledge of ‘all things baby’ with other new parents and carers, supporting them with their own journeys.

Anne creates a lovely, relaxed environment for parents/carers and their babies. It’s important to Anne that everyone who attends her classes feels comfortable at all times, whether baby is enjoying the massage and sensory play, feeding or simply being vocal! She encourages parents/carers to be in the ‘here and now’ with their babies, making the most of this quality time for bonding and therapeutic play.

The many benefits of developmental baby massage fascinate Anne and she is passionate about sharing the techniques, helping to calm and relax babies whilst supporting their natural development.

Sinead Duncan

Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Sinead is a lover of all things yoga. It doesn’t matter which style you feel most suited to, different paths towards the same goal!

Since taking her first ever Ashtanga class and becoming hooked on the powerful movement aspect of a yoga practice, yoga has provided Sinead with a colourful journey inwards.

Having undertaken several training courses in a variety of traditions, styles and practices, Sinead appreciates and respects the individual’s journey. Some of us simply want to practice to gain more flexibility, or because they find it helps with stress. Some find they want to learn more and study deeper along a spiritual path. Some practice yoga because the sense of embodiment and connection to one’s own body and nature is the most rewarding feeling. No matter what your reason is, you’re welcome to share your practice with Sinead and enjoy your own journey!

Sinead’s mission is to share what she knows with an open heart and true intentions, so that you can benefit too.

James Sandercock

Hatha Yoga

I have been practising yoga for around 5 years. The first couple of years were on and off, to be honest more off than on. It was only after life decided to pull the rug from under me that I really started dedicate some time to my practise and in turn began to discover what yoga really meant to me. In 2017 I decided to do the 200 hour teacher training here at Yogafurie.
As a teacher my only wish is that I am able to support my students to move forwards and find what Yoga means to them.  My Mantra…Yoga For All.

Josie Harrington

Yoga with Josie

I began practising yoga 17 years ago. Initially yoga was a form of exercise.  This all changed when I went through a particularly difficult stage in my life. This experience sparked a deeper and more meaningful relationship with yoga which has remained with me ever since. Yoga has taught me to connect more deeply with how I am in each moment. I found that as my body became stronger and more flexible, so did my mind!

In 2012 I completed the British Wheel of Yoga foundation in yoga course.  I  went on to complete a 500 hour advanced yoga teacher training, at Yogasara Academy in Bristol. This course took me so much deeper into my practice and knowledge of yoga. I began to realise that yoga is not just making shapes on mats, it is about having a greater ability to deal with the ups and downs of life. Yoga has helped me to be less stressed, to worry less, to sleep better and to have more energy. Yoga has the potential to help us cope, and increases our sense of happiness and ease.

I qualified as a yoga Nidra teacher in 2015 with Total Yoga Nidra in London.

I am currently studying a 500 hour yoga therapy for mental health course in London.

I have been a mental health practitioner for over 20 years and my dream is to one day combine both of my passions – yoga and mental / emotional wellbeing.

Registered with IYN.

Mary Cooke

Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga

My classes are constructed from my hatha yoga training and inspired by my experience with many forms of modern yoga practice. I studied with Ashtak Yoga School in Rishikesh, India, involving deep study and practice of yoga asana adjustment and alignment, cleansing techniques (kriyas), breathing techniques (pranayama),yoga philosophy, anatomy, mantra/chanting and meditation, whilst also exploring the benefits of practicing an Ayurvedic lifestyle and diet.

I hope that through my own experiences I can share and enrich the practice of others and through sharing I shall continue to learn and grow alongside my students.

Rebecca Neusinger

Rebecca Neusinger

Yoga came into my life at a point where I was particularly stuck. My life has transformed since then and the role of yoga as a consistent player throughout this has been central. Yoga has supported me without me even knowing it which inspires me to share this potential with others. By practising yoga for release, strength and flexibility I cultivated profound change, self-love and confidence.

I am a 200hour Certified Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher. I have completed additional trainings in yin yoga, aerial yoga and thai massage which have provided me a deeper understanding of yoga and its many forms and benefits. Having spent the last three months teaching at a Yoga Teacher Training course in Thailand, I am back to focus all the amazing things I learnt into my classes here in Bristol ❤

I completed my own yoga training in the Himalayas alongside deeply inspiring, knowledgeable and dedicated yoga teachers, and I endeavour to incorporate their passion and love into my own teaching philosophy.

For me yoga is a tool for the individual to connect with the self in any way that works, there are no rules or rights or wrongs, only self-expression. Through nurturing this self-expression and care we can then reach out and connect with the collective, developing strong, lasting, loving relationships with ourselves and others.’

Joy Vann

Joy Vann

Over time yoga has become something that I couldn’t live without. As someone who had never previously considered myself to be particularly well-coordinated or physically capable, yoga was the first thing I found which doesn’t matter how strong, bendy or balanced you are; there’s something accessible to everyone. I was hooked, and have watched with fascination what yoga has done for me; building strength and resilience not only physically but mentally too.
I aim for my classes to be energetic and fun.  We work hard but within our limits; wobbles and laughter are welcome.

Adrienn Szigeti

Adrienn Szigeti

I had been practicing yoga for many years, before discovering that I had an overactive thyroid. Through the journey (and a book relating to autoimmune diseases), I found a new interest in food and nutrients, and subsequently Ayurveda. The need to step away from a stressful environment meant that immersing in my long-established love for yoga felt like the right thing to do. So, in January 2019, I left my corporate desk to join a yoga teacher training course led by Himalaya Yoga Valley in India.

Today, I passionately share the benefits of yoga with people around me. My classes follow traditional Ashtanga and Hatha yoga, the Himalayan tradition of yoga meditation, an Iyengar focus on alignment, vinyasa for strength and conditioning. In combination, finding a much-needed balance between challenging our bodies and quieting our minds.

Recently, I attended the Yoga For Cancer course, further expanding my knowledge through the wonderful Morven Hamilton. I welcome all students, patients and their loved ones, or those curious to start their yoga practice, to get in touch with any questions, whether it’s about yoga for cancer or general, stress & anxiety relief or any individual request.

Aliya Mughal

Aliya Mughal

I’ve been practicing yoga for 20+ years, exploring its mental and physical benefits alongside my other vocation as a writer, discovering how words and movement can transform the way we relate to ourselves, to other people and our fellow species, and to our shared environment.

Inspired by a love of nature and a desire to deepen my practice, I travelled to Costa Rica in 2018 where I gained my 200 hour YTT qualification in Hatha Yoga, incorporating the Vinyasa style of wise progression tailored to the individual. I am currently studying for my 300 hour YTT qualification with Bristol School of Yoga.

My classes are open to people of all abilities, shapes, sizes and experience as I’m passionate about creating welcoming spaces in which we can all learn how to move, breathe and coexist with care, curiosity, compassion and awareness.
