This class is a friendly mixed ability class designed for the beginner to the advanced.  It will strengthen the core, help improve posture and increase body awareness. Within every lesson we cover mobilising joints, correct engagement of appropriate muscles, with particular focus on the Pelvic Floor, strengthening exercises and ways to improve your posture.  You will leave feeling happier, more relaxed and re-energised.

Anne Tregenna

Baby Natal Developmental Baby Massage Stage 1 and 2

Anne is a qualified Antenatal and Postnatal Practitioner offering the accredited BabyNatal Developmental Baby Massage courses.

She has been teaching in children’s education for 10 years and has 4 children of her own. It was after having her own children that Anne decided she wanted to share her passion and knowledge of ‘all things baby’ with other new parents and carers, supporting them with their own journeys.

Anne creates a lovely, relaxed environment for parents/carers and their babies. It’s important to Anne that everyone who attends her classes feels comfortable at all times, whether baby is enjoying the massage and sensory play, feeding or simply being vocal! She encourages parents/carers to be in the ‘here and now’ with their babies, making the most of this quality time for bonding and therapeutic play.

The many benefits of developmental baby massage fascinate Anne and she is passionate about sharing the techniques, helping to calm and relax babies whilst supporting their natural development.

Mum & Baby Yoga

Delivered in blocks on Thursdays 11:30am – 12:30pm.

September: 16th, 23rd and 30th.

October 7th, 14th and 21st.

Mum and baby yoga offers mother and baby the opportunity to bond whilst enjoying the practice and benefits of yoga together. 

Classes offer mums movements and practices to stretch out achy parts of the body that can get stiff and tired from holding, carrying and feeding baby, as well as practices to help the body recuperate and strengthen post birth.  The use of the breath is also weaved throughout the class to help you relax, restore and replenish.

Your baby will experience baby massage and baby yoga movements to help support their physical, emotional and mental development, whilst spending quality time with you that will support and nourish your mother baby bond. Many of the movements used in baby massage and baby yoga can help with common conditions such as wind, constipation and colic.

Classes are friendly and relaxed and are suitable for beginners or those with more experience of yoga.  I aim to create an atmosphere where mother and baby can do what they need to do on the day, babies sometimes need to feed, cry, cuddle, sleep, or have a nappy change and that is all welcome!

It is advised that you wait until 6 weeks after a vaginal birth and 12 weeks after a Caesarean birth before coming along to class. Babies can attend from 6 weeks through to walking/around 12 months old.

Restorative Pilates for All

Strengthen, lengthen, mobilise and relax. Classes are designed to develop beginners and progress those familiar with Pilates so everyone can enjoy the class and reap the bountiful benefits. The exercises chosen aim to address the common stresses of daily life and relieve their effects on the body. Ideal for rehabilitation and ‘pre-habilitation’ if preparing for a procedure. 

This class features a restorative period to close where participants are led through a ‘guided relaxation’ to encourage muscles to release any remaining tension and offer the mind the opportunity to quieten, empty of distracting thought. Feel peaceful and content as the whole body feels calm yet rejuvenated at the end of the class. A blissful way to relax in the middle or your day so that you feel re-set and ready to go again!
 
Catch Up: Each week I upload a new, recorded session to a private ‘CLASS Log In’ area on my website so you never have to miss out. I also do this during the school holidays to ensure practise is continued while the live class takes a break.

Our pregnancy yoga classes combine stretching, breathing, and relaxation techniques to offer relief from the common discomforts of pregnancy and to prepare the body for birth.

Deepen your awareness of your ever-changing body and mind as you prepare for the life-changing event of birth in a nurturing and supportive environment.

Whether you are a complete beginner to yoga or a seasoned yogi, or anywhere in between; whether this is your first, second, or sixth pregnancy – you are very welcome to come along and experience this nourishing practice.

Monday  6:30 – 7:30pm

First two classes for £15 as part of our Intro Offer, after that classes are block booked per month.
